Mr. Anderson has been an instructor with Forensic Training Group since 2018, and commencing in 2023, became a full partner. He is a qualified expert instructor for any of the classes that Forensic Training Group offers. Steve is a collision reconstructionist and has been conducting these duties since 2006, having had a hand in reconstructing over 700 collisions. He has assisted in the completion of 100 live instrumented crash tests including vehicle, motorcycle, heavy vehicle, cyclist, pedestrian and barrier systems and 69 tests with collision mitigation systems. Steve received a full accreditation as a Traffic Accident Reconstructionist with the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR) in 2011. His passion is with Heavy Vehicle Event Data Recorders and their analysis and has been qualified numerous times as an expert in this field. Steve is a member-producer of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and serves on the J2728 Standard Truck and Bus Event Data Recorder Committee.

James retired after 23 years law enforcement experience with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, obtaining the rank of Lieutenant. He is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR) and is a Certified Heavy Truck Technician though the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). James has previously served as a CVSA level one truck inspector and has reconstructed hundreds of traffic crashes. He has testified as an expert in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Loftis joined Forensic Training Group in 2017 as an instructor and became a full partner in 2023. He is a qualified expert instructor for any of the classes that Forensic Training Group offers.

James has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and holds an Advanced Law Enforcement certification through the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training.
